Fruit of the month: Watermellon

Hey guys! Today I am posting fruit of the month. You guys probably already now that every month we have a fruit that we talk about telling all of its health benefits and stuff. Anyway, this month's fruit  is..................... WATERMELON.  Yay! Watermelon is so healthy for you and it's delicious, so if you craving somthing sweet, delicious and healthy then  you should totally have some watermelon.  So, here are a couple of things about watermelon.

  • The black seeds inside the watermelon are really bad for you, the white seeds are not so bad, you can eat those.
  • Watermelon is a very good source of potassium.
  • It helps muscle and nerve function. 
  • It can ease inflammation that can contribute to conditions like asthma, atherosclerosis, diabetes, colon cancer and arthritis.
  • Watermelon consists of 92% water and 8% sugar. 
  • Watermelon is one of the most refreshing, thirst quenching fruit available year round. Watermelon is not only delicious but also very nutritious. Studies have shown that deep red varieties of watermelon have displaced the tomato as the lycopene king.                                         
Watermelon can also keep you beautiful.  Here are a few recipes for beautiful skin.

For Softer Skin:
Take one cup of watermelon pulp and apply to your face and neck Rinse after 15 minutes. 


For Sunburn, Suntans and a Brighter Complexion:
Mix equal amounts of watermelon and cucumber pulp and leave it on your face for 20  minutes.

Grated Watermelon Scrub for a Healthy Glow:
Mix about 2 tablespoons of fresh watermelon juice with a pinch of gram flour (chick pea flour) or enough to make a paste. Apply the paste on your face and leave it for fifteen minutes.
